Identity Theft

It is estimated that over 9 million people become victims of identity theft every year. It has becomes increasingly critical for each of us to be more proactive in  protecting against identity theft and in reacting when identify theft occurs.

But what exactly is identity theft? Identity theft can occur in several ways. One of the most common forms of identity theft is the theft of someone’s social security number. Another form would be that of a stolen driver’s license. The type most people are familiar with is the theft of credit cards.
